Educated at St George's Hospital, where he was entered as a twelve-months' pupil to Benjamin Brodie in October, 1828. He was apparently in practice at Baslow, Derby, in 1861, and then practised at Lansdowne Road, Tunbridge Wells, where he died on May 30th, 1863.

Educated at Guy's Hospital. He practised in Bristol for many years, and was a member of the Bristol Medico-Chirurgical Society. He died at his residence, Carlton House, Stapleton Road, Bristol, on September 22nd, 1875.
