Studied at Guy's Hospital and practised in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire, where he was Surgeon to the Little Dean County Gaol. Removing to Bury St Edmunds, he was Surgeon to the Eastern Union Railway Benevolent Institution. After that he returned to The Lawn, Cinderford, Gloucestershire, where

Studied at the London Hospital and at Bristol Hospital. He first practised at 16 Dorset Terrace, Clapham Road, London, SW, where he was Surgeon to the County Gaol. He then practised at 28 Brunswick Road, Hove, Brighton, where he died in retirement on March 8th, 1889.

Educated at University College, London. He practised at 43 Berners Street, and then at 27 Nottingham Place, Marylebone Road, where William Romley Cheyne, MRCS, also practised. Cheyne died on August 16th, 1886. His photograph is in the Fellows' Album. Publication: "On the Preservation of Vaccine Lym
