Barry Crymble qualified in medicine in Belfast in 1945. He passed the FRCS in 1951 and practiced as a consultant orthopaedic surgeon for the Northern Ireland Hospital Authority. He was a member of the British Orthopaedic Association and the Ulster Medical Society. He died on 17 June 2002, aged 81.
