Born in HM Dockyard at Devonport, where his father held an important office. Educated at a neighbouring Grammar School he was articled at the age of 17 to Dr James Bell, the surgeon to the dockyard. Practised at 9 Upper Seymour Street, then at 6 Stanhope Place, Hyde Park, and later at 16 Great Cumberland Place, West London. He was for a time a member of the Erectheum Club, St James's Square, and he died at Ramsgate on December 8th, 1877. His portrait is in the Fellows' Album.

Died at Bethnal House, Bethnal Green, on November 27th, 1857.

Educated at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals. He practised at 87 Upper Grosvenor Street, and also at Iver Heath (near Uxbridge), Buckinghamshire; ultimately at the latter place only. He gave attention to life insurance and the principles of insurance of unsound lives. He died on May 27th, 1878.

Was Surgeon to the Parochial Infirmary of St Luke's, Middlesex. He died at his house, 16 Artillery Place, Finsbury Square, on or before April 26th, 1854.

Practised in Leeds, and died in retirement at 95 Gower Street, London, in September or October, 1867. Publications: Hare published several tracts on Spinal Curvature, also a Statistical Report of 190 Cases of Insanity at the Retreat near Leeds during 1830-40.
