Practised at Stafford, where he was Surgeon to the County Infirmary and Prison. He moved later to Barnstaple, where he died on November 22nd, 1880.

Educated at St Bartholomew's and St George's Hospitals. He practised at 7 Bath Place, Kensington, in partnership with William James Turner, MRCS, and at one time was Surgeon to the Dispensary. He removed to Oak Lodge, Prince's Road, Wimbledon Park, and died there on August 15th, 1892.

Born on May 19th, 1807, was gazetted Hospital Assistant to the Forces on March 29th, 1827, and Assistant Surgeon to the 73rd Foot on December 18th, 1828.
