Educated at Guy’s Hospital, of the Physical Society of which he was an honorary member. He was for many years in general practice at Bridge Street, Hereford, where he was for some time Surgeon to the Infirmary and Dispensary (before 1855). He died at Hereford on December 2nd, 1863.

Educated at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals, Grainger's School, Paris, and Edinburgh. He practised at 24 Park Square, Leeds, where he was Hon Surgeon to the Public Dispensary and to the Fever Hospital. Afterwards he practised at Bridlington Quay, Yorkshire, where he died on December 24th, 1876.

He practised at Long Sutton, Lincs, and at the time of his death was Medical Officer of the Long Sutton District, Holbeach Union, and a Corresponding Member of the Hunterian Medical Society. Richard Hey, Surgeon to the York County Hospital and to the Institute for the Blind, lectured on Surgery at the York School of Medicine and was Surgeon to the Female Penitentiary. He lived at Minsteryard, York, and died on September 1st, 1860, whilst visiting Ellesborough Rectory, Buckinghamshire.
