Roger James was a general surgeon who lived and worked in Canada. He qualified from the University of Sheffield in 1953 and passed the fellowship in 1960. He moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba where he was on the staff of the Misericordia General and Victoria General Hospitals. He died on 18 January 2007.

Jamshed Madan was a surgeon who worked in Mumbai, India. He was born on 28 January 1918 and gained his FRCS in 1950. The Royal College of Surgeons was notified of his death on 22 August 2013. He was 95.

Nitya Bhattacharjee was a consultant surgeon who worked in Manchester. He died on 14 August 2010 aged 79 years, survived by his wife, Christa and sons Jonathan and Nicholas.

Himangshu Sekhar Lahiri gained his FRCS in 1955. His last-known address was in Walton-on-Thames. He died on 1 April 2014 at the age of 94 and was survived by his wife Betty, children Kim, Robin and Arun, and six grandchildren.

Ian Penn was a surgeon in Western Australia. He was born on 4 August 1920 and gained his FRCS in 1962. The Royal College of Surgeons was informed of his death in April 2014.
