Received his professional training at St George's Hospital, where he was Perpetual Pupil to Robert Keate (from Sept 20th, 1825) and House Surgeon (June, 1830). He was in practice at Cheltenham in 1852, and died in July, 1878.

Alexander Wright, of Norton Sheffield, apparently as a student, wrote an essay entitled, "An Essay on the Influence of Air and Soil as Affecting Health" (8vo, Birmingham, 1836), dedicated to Dr Arnold of Rugby as "The Patron of Youthful Merit". He died at Boerne, Texas, on July 28th, 1864.

Was at one time Surgeon to Queen Adelaide's Lying-in Hospital and to the Harrison Spinal Hospital. Afterwards he was Superintendent of the Seamen's Hospital, Constantinople. He practised later at 18 Whitworth Road, South Norwood, where he died on December l3th, 1889.

Studied at Guy's Hospital and practised at 5 Winchester Place, Pentonville, then at 27 Leinster Square, Bayswater. He was a Fellow of the Royal Medico-Chirurgical Society. He died on July 23rd, 1883.

Practised in Great Ormond Street and at 55 Guilford Street, London. He was Surgeon to the Free Hospital for Deformities, Great Portland Road (now Street), and to the Home for Incurable and Infirm Women, New Ormond Street, and died on November 15th, 1887.
