Studied at Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals, and practised all his life at Ramsden Street, Huddersfield, latterly in partnership with his son, Frederick Greenwood, MRCS. He was Surgeon to Huddersfield Infirmary and Surgeon under the Factory Act. He died at Huddersfield on December 6th, 1862.
