Very little is known about John William Ogilvie except that he qualified MB BCh from Oxford University in 1963 and passed his FRCS in 1970. He is believed to have died in October 1974.

Unfortunately nothing is known about the career of John Mervyn White, who qualified in the Republic of Ireland in 1966 and became a Fellow of the College in 1970. He was known to be living in Cork when he died on 21 November 1991.

Prasanta Kumar Chaudhuri passed his MB BS in Calcutta in 1963. He became a Fellow of the College in 1970 and he was working in the ENT department at Oldham and District General Hospital when he died on 2 June 1984.

Aroor Rao qualified MB BS at Karnatak University in 1963 and came to Britain and gained his Fellowship in 1970. Thereafter he returned to India where he practised in Mangalore until his death, which his son, Dr A Arun Rao, reported to the College as having occurred on 29 September 1996.

After doing junior posts in India, Baldev Sharma came to England to specialise in surgery, and worked in Gateshead. After passing the final FRCS he returned to India and sadly, lost touch with the College. We were informed of his death in 1997, but have no further information about him.

Unfortunately the College lost touch with Alexander Gonsalves. He was born on 8 December 1935. After passing the FRCS he emigrated to Sacramento, California, where he was in practice as an anaesthetist at the Kaiser Permante Medical Centre. He died on 1 November 2001.
