Aroor Rao qualified MB BS at Karnatak University in 1963 and came to Britain and gained his Fellowship in 1970. Thereafter he returned to India where he practised in Mangalore until his death, which his son, Dr A Arun Rao, reported to the College as having occurred on 29 September 1996.

After doing junior posts in India, Baldev Sharma came to England to specialise in surgery, and worked in Gateshead. After passing the final FRCS he returned to India and sadly, lost touch with the College. We were informed of his death in 1997, but have no further information about him.
