Getting started

Searching: You can use the main search box (1) (in the black bar above) to search the biographies (clicktap the magnifying glass to search). The dropdown list (2) next to it allowstapping Search Options will display a dropdown list (2) allowing you to restrict the search to a particular type of data. You can also access an Advanced Search page via the link to the right (3). See Searching for biographies for more information.
Home Page: You can click the home icon (4) to go to the Lives of the Fellows Home page.
My Lists: Click the ‘My Lists’ (5) link at any time to access the My Lists page. See Using My Lists for more information.
Library Information: You can click ‘Library Information’ (6) to find information about the Library, such as address, telephone number, opening hours, etc.
Keyboard Navigation: Plarr's Lives of the Fellows is designed to be used with a mouse. If you are more comfortable using the keyboard, however, you can click on the wheelchair icon (7) to change to an interface that better accommodates keyboard use.
Getting Help: If you need help, look for the green question mark links (). There is also a general link (8) at the top right of each pagein the main menu and many pages include a pop-up Help button at the bottom right.
